As the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) builds the MCAS 2.0, they are simultaneously seeking the input of educators and community stakeholders from across the state to refine the Massachusetts English language arts (ELA) and math standards. To share your thoughts about how to improve the standards, please use DESE's feedback form.
If you have general questions or comments about the MCAS 2.0 project, please email DESE at MCAS2.email@example.com.
The Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) voted on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 to solicit public comment on the draft Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) standards. Public input is an important part of developing state learning standards. Your input will help to refine the standards before BESE votes on adoption of the DLCS standards.
The public comment period is open through April 8, 2016. The draft standards and a survey to submit comment can be accessed at: http://www.doe.mass.edu/stem/standards.html. Please feel free to share this announcement with your colleagues.
